We pay attention to the support of national traditions. Every year we perform 4 calendar holidays: Kolyadki, Maslenitsa, Kupalo and Harvest (you can read about origin of this holidays on the website of the Russian Ethnographic Museum).
Each of these holidays is wonderful in their own way and we try to set them in a place most appropriate to the spirit of the holiday. We dress in costumes made with own hands in the traditional style from different regions of Russia. All materials (songs, games, clothes), used by Kedry a historically authentic and collected on expeditions in various regions of Russia, Siberia and Baikal region.
Our guests have the opportunity to play traditional games, do crafts with their hands, to participate in folk dances on our community festivals. We have potluck table, everyone can bring a favorite dish or drink (non-alcoholic).
Photo materials from our winter celebration Kolyadki is used for slideshow. The carol "On the Jordan River" is from our new CD Vertep.
