Events

     Our activity includes organization of family oriented theatrical festivals, rooted in old folk traditions. Our goal is the participation of the whole family. Children can see their parents playing games and dancing with joy and amusement and they feel that this is something that unites family - those songs, games, crafts. Therefore, they feel an interest in the language, history and culture of Russia.

June, 28th, 2008, at 4:00 p.m.,
near Lake Del Valle, (Livermore, CA) "Kedry" celebrated the magnificent Russian summer holyday "Kupalo", based on the folk tradition of summer solstice. Following the ritual part of the celebration, we danced, played and sang. Look at photos from Ivana Kupala celebration.
